Deanna graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree in 2020 while simultaneously working as a full-time registered ICU nurse during COVID. In 2020 she became board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She started at the Neurology Center for Epilepsy and Seizures in 2024. As a nurse practitioner, her passion for neurology and epilepsy was inspired by the profound impact of seizures witnessed firsthand while working in the ICU for 5 years. This fueled her dedication to providing compassionate care and contributing to the understanding and management of neurological conditions that shape the lives of people.
Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog named Bowie.
